Randy Fusilier

August 11, 1951 - April 14, 2013

Funeral services were held for Randy Fusilier, 61, of Ville Platte, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 16. Burial followed in the Te Mamou Cemetery.

A loving husband, father and grandfather, Mr. Fusilier died Sunday, April 14, 2013, at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Ville Platte.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Johnson Fusilier of Ville Platte; two sons, Logan Fusilier of Ville Platte and Robert Marcantel and his wife, Rachel, of Bayou Chicot; three daughters, Jessica Fusilier Perrodin and her husband, Marcus, and Kayla Israel and her husband, Marcus, all of Ville Platte; and Angela Guillory and her husband, Lance, of Grand Prairie; two sisters, Brenda Fusilier Thomas of Bayou Chicot and Nina Fusilier Stewart of Missouri; 10 grandchildren, Matthew and Jolie Perrodin, Wyatt and Cullen Marcantel, Kimberly, Taylor, Evan and Blaine Guillory, and Jared and Daniel Israel.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Mable Mayeaux Fusilier; two sons, Quentin Lee Fusilier and Jared Lance Fusilier; and two brothers, Marion Brent Fusilier and Phillip James Fusilier.

Father Garrett McIntyre officiated.
