Panthers fall to Lions, despite valiant effort

In Pine Prairie, the Panthers were coming off of a big-time emotional win over the Mamou Green Demons. The Panthers had to entertain another team out of District 4-2A in the Vinton Lions.

The Trojans were impressive with their new adjustments on offense. They produced big plays from senior quarterback Wesley Fontenot (15).

When Sacred Heart and Mamou collided Thursday night, there was a lot on the line for the teams as far as the year is concerned. There was also a lot of emotions involved. Both of the teams needed to win to regain momentum and composure.
