Trojans take title

VILLE PLATTE -- The Halls of Troy reign supreme once again in the City Championship gridiron classic, as the Sacred Heart Trojans ran past the Ville Platte Bulldogs 40-19 here Friday night to take home the Tee-Cotton Bowl XIV title.

VILLE PLATTE -- Not since Hurricane Lily strode through the City of Ville Platte in 2002 has there been so much talk about how the weather will affect the most anticipated high school football game of 2017, the Tee-Cotton Bowl.

BASILE -- On what turned out to be a misty night in the land of the Bearcats, all four of the parish’s public schools came together for the annual jamboree.
