Ville Platte Police Department reports nine recent arrests

The Ville Platte Police Department reported nine arrests recently.

Arrested were the following:

•Travinski Williams, 27, 1259 Fruge St., Ville Platte, was charged July 31, with criminal damage to property. Williams was released on a $700 bond.

•Melvin Roberts, 46, 313 Long St., Ville Platte, was charged July 31, with resisting an officer. No bond information was available.

•Cyfrus Charles, 66, 1516 Blake St., Ville Platte, was charged July 28, with aggravated assault. Charles was released on a $1,000 bond.

•David Sims, 47, 606 E. Wilson St., Ville Platte, was charged July 31, with vagrancy. No bond information was available.

•Brian Chad Leday, 36, 1056 Rachael Drive, Ville Platte, was charged August 2, with no lights, resisting an officer, public intimidation, open container and driving under suspension. Leday was released on a $2,650 bond.

•Wanda Griffith, 49, 1026 W. Peach St., Ville Platte, was charged August 5, with disturbing the peace, criminal damage to property and resisting an officer. Griffith remained incarcerated on a $1,650 bond.

•Bobby Gorman, 34, 1011 Andrew Road, Ville Platte, was charged August 2, with theft. No bond information was available.

•Antonie Edwards, 34, 316 W. Desota St., Ville Platte, was charged July 19, with discharging a firearm. Edwards was released on a $1,500 bond.

•Dealonzo Adams, 21, 806 N. Latour St., Ville Platte, was charged August 1, with possession of marijuana. Adams was released on a $2,500 bond.
