Mr. Ardoin, Miss Blanchard plan May nuptials

The engagement of Miss Nicole Marie Blanchard to Mr. Eric Scott Ardoin, the son of Scott and Ginny Ardoin of Mamou, has been announced by her parents, Glenn and Faye Blanchard of Eunice.
The couple will exchange wedding vows Friday, May 22, 2015, during a 7 p.m. ceremony at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice.
Miss Blanchard, whose mother is the former Faye Richard of Eunice, is the granddaughter of Gourney and Ella Richard and Jacques and Evangeline Blanchard.
A graduate of St. Edmund Catholic High School in Eunice, she received an associate degree from LSU-Eunice and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from McNeese State University in Lake Charles.
Mr. Fontenot’s mother is the former Ginny Smith of Mamou. He is the grandson of Lee Bertman and Judy Ardoin, Dorothy Smith and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Smith.
A graduate of Mamou High School, he received a bachelor’s degree in engineering technology from McNeese State University in Lake Charles.
