St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice provided the setting for a lovely 7 p.m. ceremony Friday, May 22, 2015, uniting Miss Nicole Marie Blanchard and Mr. Eric Scott Ardoin in holy matrimony, with Deacon Robbie Leger officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Glenn and Faye Blanchard of Eunice. The groom is the son of Scott and Ginny Ardoin of Mamou.
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride was radiant in her ivory-colored lace gown accented with sequins and lace-outlined cathedral-length veil.
The bride carried a bouquet of teal roses and white dahlias.
Mia Frey of Eunice served as maid of honor for the special occasion. She wore a teal-colored, floor-length gown of chiffon and carried a bouquet of teal roses and white dahlias.
Bridesmaids were Emily Ardoin of Mamou, Jada Fabacher and Brittany Hebert, both of Eunice, Abbie Blackwell of Basile and Catrina Richardson of Ville Platte. They were attired identically to the maid of honor.
Garrett Jude Speyrer of Mamou served as best man for the evening ceremony.
Groomsmen were Wesley Blanchard of Eunice, Cameron Fontenot of Reddell, Kyle Richardson of Ville Platte, Greg Gott of Lake Charles and Hunter Vidrine of Pine Prairie.
Audrey Leger of Eunice served as flower girl, and Colin O’Neal of Baton Rouge served as ring bearer.
Ushers were Zachary Brignac of Eunice and William Menier of Mamou.
For her daughter’s special day, the bride’s mother selected an emerald blue-colored, floor-length gown accented with a lace top.
The groom’s mother selected a blush-colored, floor-length gown accented with soutached lace and beaded yoke.
A reception followed at the St. Thomas More church hall. Guest tables were decorated with hydrangeas and candles.
Following a wedding cruise to Jamaica, Cozumel and the Cayman Islands, the couple has made their home in Eunice.
