Mr. Dardeau, Miss Fontenot set April ceremony

The engagement of Miss Amber Marie Fontenot to Mr. Chett Cody Dardeau, the son of Keith and Jessica Dardeau of Ville Platte, has been announced by her parents, Troy Fontenot and Melissa Fontenot of Ville Platte.
The couple will exchange wedding vows Saturday, April 18, 2015, during a 6:30 p.m. ceremony at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte.
Miss Fontenot, whose mother is the former Melissa Cormier of Ville Platte, is the granddaughter of the late Jeff Fontenot, Geri Fontenot, the late Merlin Cormier and Dean Cormier.
A 2008 graduate of Ville Platte High School, she received a Bachelor of Science degree in radiologic technology from McNeese State University in Lake Charles in 2014.
Mr. Dardeau’s mother is the former Jessica Bordelon of Ville Platte. He is the grandson of the late James “Coon” Bordelon, Joann Bordelon, the late Norris Dardeau and Loisie Dardeau.
A 2007 graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Ville Platte, he is currently employed with Cameron.
