Mrs. Christopher Matthew Ducote

Mr. Ducote, Miss Hebert united in holy matrimony

St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church in Alexandria provided the setting for a lovely 6:30 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, January 2, 2016, uniting Miss Ashley Elizabeth Hebert and Mr. Christopher Matthew Ducote in holy matrimony, with Father Chad Partain officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Vic and Cindy Hebert of Ville Platte. The groom is the son of RJ and Brenda Ducote of Pineville.
The pew markers in the church were beautifully accented with ivory tulle bows accented with deep red roses and draping cedar and berries.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride was radiant in her ivory, silver and champagne-colored, A-line-shaped gown of crepe organza featuring an intricately beaded illusion front and back tulle bodice with bateau necklines and elbow-length sleeves. The beading included an assortment of opal rhinestones, Swarovski Crystals, pearls and silver-backed crystal sequins. The silky satin bodice lining featured a sweetheart front neckline and a “V” back neckline. Fabric covered buttons accented with faux beaded buttons accented the length of the train. She wore a hair comb of Cubic Zirconium, ivory pearls with matching earrings and ballet flat shoes to complete her attire.
The bride carried a bouquet of deep red garden roses mixed with white roses, hypericum berries and holly berries accented with various Christmas evergreens, such as cedar, princess pine, juniper and seeded eucalyptus.
The boutonnières for the wedding party were simple arrangements of holly berries and fresh cedar wrapped in twine.
Amanda Hebert of Ville Platte served her sister as maid of honor for the special occasion.
Jeremy Harding of Pineville, best friend of the groom, served as best man for the evening ceremony.
Ushers were Trent Ducote, Blake Ducote and David Ducote, all brothers of the groom.
Ruth McCain served as flower girl; and Jonah Davis served as ring bearer.
A reception followed at the Melady House in Alexandria. The location was beautifully decorated with floral arrangements of deep red garden roses mixed with white roses and hypericum berries and holly berries accented with various Christmas evergreens such as cedar, princess pine, juniper and seeded eucalyptus. The floral table arrangements were tapered in tall vases and short vases adorned with draping pearls romantically illuminated with several tea lights.
Following a wedding trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, the couple has made their home in Pineville.
