Mr. Fontenot, Miss Sittig plan June nuptials

The engagement of Miss Joni Nicole Sittig, the daughter of Maria V. Sittig of Ville Platte and the late Dale Sittig, to Mr. Patrick Harrison Fontenot, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gregory J. Fontenot of Ville Platte, has been announced by her mother.
The couple will exchange wedding vows Saturday, June 13, 2015, during a 6:30 p.m. ceremony at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte.
Miss Sittig, whose mother is the former Maria Vidrine of Ville Platte, is the granddaughter of Earlis and Shirley Vidrine of Ville Platte and Loretta Midkiff and Vincent Sittig, both of Eunice.
A 2006 graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Ville Platte, she received a degree in health information management with a minor in business from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She is currently employed as the director of health information with Mercy Regional Medical Center in Ville Platte.
Mr. Fontenot’s mother is the former Sharon Mitchell of Elton. He is the grandson of Mrs. Cecil Pouncey of Ville Platte, the late Allen Patrick Fontenot, the late David Harrison Mitchell and the late Ellat Mitchell.
A 2003 graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Ville Platte, he received an associate degree with honors in industrial technology from South Louisiana Community College in Lafayette. He is currently employed as a line mechanic with CLECO.
