Mr. Guillory, Miss Verrett united in holy matrimony

St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Eunice provided the setting for a lovely 6:30 p.m. ceremony on Friday, April 10, 2015, uniting Miss Lacy Chantelle Verrett and Mr. Phillip Michael Guillory in holy matrimony, with Father Tom Voorhies and Deacon Robbie Leger officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Richard and Laura Betterton and Avery Verrett of Ville Platte. The groom is the son of Farrell and Pamela Guillory of Eunice.
The church was beautifully decorated with Easter Calla Lilies.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride was radiant in her hand-crafted gown of Alencon lace elegantly trimmed with beaded embroidery. The gown featured a fitted bodice, trumpet skirt and sweetheart neckline.
The bride carried a bouquet of white hydrangea, calla lilies, ranunculus, garden roses and baby’s breath.
Andrea Lyse Lofton of Broussard served as matron of honor for the special occasion, and Brianne Betterton of Ville Platte served as maid of honor. They each wore a gown of light blue chiffon accented with a shirred assymetrical bodice and draped A-line skirt. They carried bouquets of hydrangea, lavender stock, cream-colored spray of mother of pearl roses and baby’s breath.
Bridesmaids were Kristyn Fuselier and Caroline Fuselier, both of Eunice, Katie Verrett and Sarah Brunet, both of Ville Platte, Diana Vallette of Sulphur, Brandy Phillips of Lafayette and Shaina Boutte of Bayou Chicot. They were attired identically to the matron and maid of honor.
Jon Seth Guillory of Eunice served as best man for the evening ceremony.
Groomsmen were Brian Fuselier, Trey Wimberley, Edmund Caswell, Dusty Douget, WIlliam Feucht, Brandon Beard and Dane Manuel, all of Eunice, and Ethan Verrett of Ville Platte.
Nicholas Fuselier of Eunice served as junior groomsman.
Alaina Boutte of Bayou Chicot served as flower girl, and Cain Boutte of Bayou Chicot served as ring bearer.
Ushers were Slade Scherer, Ben Fontenot, Ryan Henderson and Jon Eric Eval, all of Eunice.
For her daughter’s special day, the bride’s mother selected a navy gown featuring beaded embellishments, illusion sweetheart neckline and three-quarter-length sleeves.
A reception followed at the Point Aux Loups Springs Ballroom in Iota. The guest tables were decorated with centerpieces of baby’s breath and tealight candles.
Following a wedding trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, the couple has made their home in Eunice.
