Mr. Walsh, Miss Fontenot plan November nuptials

The engagement of Miss Brooke Fontenot to Mr. Richard Walsh, the son of Garrett and Carol Walsh of Zwolle, has been announced by her parents, Tony and Beth Fontenot of Natchitoches.
The couple will exchange wedding vows Saturday, November 21, 2015, during a late afternoon ceremony on the beach in St. George Island, Florida. A reception will follow at the Camellia Gardens and Hall in Apalachicola, Florida.
Miss Fontenot, whose mother is the former Beth LaTour of Ville Platte, is the granddaughter of Jack and Faye LaTour and Caledonia Fontenot, all of Ville Platte, and the late Aaron Fontenot.
A graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Natchitoches and the LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, she is currently employed as an ER nurse with St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria.
Mr. Fontenot’s mother is the former Carol Oosta of Zwolle. He is the grandson of the late Pat and Garrett Walsh Sr. and Richard and Margaret Oosta.
A graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Natchitoches, he is currently pursuing a degree in business at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches and employed with Walsh Timber Company in Zwolle.
