MAMOU - Funeral services were held for Elvin Bruce “T-Bruce” Fontenot, 79, of Breaux Bridge, at the Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou at 12:30 p.m., Sunday, March 23. Burial followed in the Evangeline Memorial Park in Ville Platte.

November 5, 1954 - March 22, 2014
Funeral services will be held for Leonard Guillory Jr., 59, of Stockbridge, Georgia, at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 3 p.m., Thursday, March 27. Burial will follow in the Platin Cemetery.

Funeral services were held for Lillian West, 94, of Ville Platte, at the Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Ville Platte at 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 26. Burial followed in the Evangeline Memorial Park Cemetery.

TURKEY CREEK - Funeral services were held for Lester Gene Ferguson, 49, originally of Lake Cove, at the Lake Cove Baptist Church at 10 a.m., Monday, March 24. Burial followed in the McCormick Cemetery in Turkey Creek.

MAMOU - Funeral services will be held for Wallace “Jim” Thompson, 83, of Mamou, at the Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 22. Burial will follow in the Reed Cemetery.

EUNICE - Funeral services were held for Hilda Berzas Vizena, 89, of Eunice, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Eunice at 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 21. Burial followed in the St Ann’s Mausoleum in Mamou.
Ms. Vizena died Tuesday, March 18, 2014.
