VP Council talks ordinance amendment, reflective gear

Meeting a day earlier due to federal elections on Tuesday, the Ville Platte City Council approved an amendment to its culverts ordinance Monday evening. It also heard discussion of its reflective gear ordinance.

Basile hits the road for first playoff game; faces Linclon Prep

Police jury adopts resolution to revoke permits, appoints Ardoin’s replacement

At the Evangeline Parish Police Jury’s Monday night meeting the jury officially passed an ordinance to “terminate any and all utility permits or tags” if a person or entity is in violation of any provision of a parish ordinance.
