On Tuesday, Born Jones pled guilty to two counts of forcible rape for incidents that occurred early in 2014.
His plea came a mere couple of hours before a jury was to be selected for Jones’s trial.
Jones was originally charged with aggravated rape in this matter.

A St. Landry Parish Grand Jury indicted Phillip Lafleur of second-degree murder in the death of his great uncle Dale Lafleur.
The indictment was returned on Tuesday to 27th Judicial District Court Judge D. Jason Meche.

The first game of the season for LSU against the Cougars of BYU should have been played in Houston this weekend, but a little thing called Harvey had other plans. The game has since been moved to the Mercedes Benz Superdome in New Orleans.
