The last entertainment program for kids parish library’s Summer Reading Program was also the largest this year, attracting close to 200 children and adults to see the Bar None Petting Zoo from Church Point Tuesday afternoon, June 22, at the Northside Civic Center’s pavilion.

Before the rains late last week, city crews began putting up red street signs that have the city’s logo. The more than 80 new signs will replace illegible existing signs or will be placed where no street signs exist.
