The Knights of Columbus, Council 1754, celebrated 100 years last week with a special mass and supper.

Walking trail laid at Hope Park

Spectacular murder trial occurred 90 years ago

The Weekly Gazette was 10 years old when it covered the most sensational murder case in the parish. The victim, Robert Leo Wiggins, was the son of former Sheriff R.L. Wiggins.
