Thirteenth District Judge J. Larry Vidrine swore in Daniel Arvie as a Ville Platte Housing Authority commissioner Wednesday, January 15. The swearing in took place in Judge Vidrine’s office in the parish courthouse.

Executives from Cabot Corporation’s corporate headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts, visited Ville Platte Tuesday to join Cabot Ville Platte Plant Manager Mark Suellentrop in presenting a $28,000 check to be used to purchase laptop computers and computer desks for the new main parish library.
