A car crashed into the front wall of Citizens Bank Tuesday, January 7, in an accident that may have left bank employees scared but uninjured. The Ville Platte Police Department reported that the crash happened at approximately 12:45 p.m. and was a simple accident.

Hunters in the north part of Evangeline Parish called the sheriff’s office Monday, December 6, at 7:51 a.m. to report they found a body lying next to a vehicle.
The hunters directed the deputy to the body, which is now undergoing an autopsy.
