The Mamou Police Department reported 24 recent bookings into the city jail. Arrested were the following persons:
• Jessica Vidrine, 212 Cross Ln., was arrested on May 31, 2017 for failure to pay fine. Vidrine was bonded out of jail.

The Ville Platte Chief of Police Neal Lartigue released a statement on Monday concerning the recovery of a recently stolen vehicle.

On Wednesday, the Faith House announced that it will be officially closed for good on June 30, 2017.
According to a statement from Faith House, the forced closing is “due to budget cuts.”

• Jawaski Beverly, 23, Cotton St., was arrested on June 23, 2017 for theft of goods. Beverly remains incarcerated with a bond of $500.00.
