Clerk of court announces commissioner schools

According to Evangeline Parish Clerk of Court Randy Deshotel, there will be a commissioner-in-charge school for all persons who are interested in becoming certified election commissioners-in-charge.

Relay for Life kickoff set

The Evangeline Parish Relay For Life kickoff will be held Tuesday November 19, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Nick’s on Main. Sign up at the kickoff party and get a free T-shirt. Survivors who attend will receive a special treat.

Plice Jury approves $28.62 million bond sale

After adopting a resolution allowing for the sale of $28.62 million in sales tax revenue bonds, the Evangeline Parish Police Jury, during its monthly meeting Monday, November 12, discussed the need for improvements to drainage in the parish.
