McMillens celebrate 50 years of wedded bliss

Johnnie and Jeanette McMillen of L’anse Aux Pailles recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary and vow renewal with a lovely reception at their home on October 30, 2015.
The couple was married on October 30, 1965, at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church in Church Point.

Rita Rae Sanford (born May 9, 1928) and Ernest G. Ratcliff (born February 10, 1927) celebrated 70 years of marriage on September 15, 2015. Rita and Ernest first met at Ville Platte High School in 1942, when Rita was 14 and Ernest was 15.
