The annual Junior, Teen and Louisiana Tournoi Queen Pageant was held Saturday, September 10, at the Northside Civic Center. Kings and queens, along with the runners-up, were selected in the following categories:

Troupe d’Evangeline hosted the short, interactive play “Pirates in the Platte” on Saturday, September 26, at the Northside Civic Center Pavilion in Ville Platte. The children in attendance dressed in costume and participated in the performance.
