The beautiful home of Brian and Kathy Reed of Rayne provided the setting for a morning bridal coffee-brunch honoring Malorie Boudreaux, bride-elect of Tyler Meche of Crowley.

Miss Boudreaux was the honored guest amidst family and friends on the Saturday morning of June 29, 2008.

I’ve come to realize that it is not humanly possible to satisfy everyone all of the time.

Working in the public eye as I do, I have to try my hardest to make sure to dot all my I’s and cross all my T’s, to say the least.

An anniversary party was held in honor of Kullen and Pam Trahan of Crowley. The couple celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary amidst family and friends on Saturday, July 12, 2008 at the South Crowley Knights of Columbus Home.

The Gallery recently held their annual July Luncheon on July 8. CAA members decided to add a sparkle to this years event by asking everyone to decorate a hat, and the beginning of the Mad Hatter’s Luncheon was upon them.

The Iota High School graduating class of 1942 gathered at Chef Roy’s Frog City Café in Rayne on June 1, 2008, for a class reunion.

Reunion committee members included Ella Bertrand, chairperson; Avery Bertrand, Verna “Lou” Miller, Clark Gray and Joel Pousson.

The monthly meeting of the Pink Lady Board was held July 7 in the Conference Room of the American Legion Hospital.
