The Come Lord Jesus celebrated its 35th anniversary on Friday, August 21, with a special mass led by Father Conley Bertrand and reception at Heritage Manor Nursing Home. The group was started by Verna Guillory in 1980.

MC and Rose Fontenot of Ville Platte recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple was married at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte on August 14, 1965. Happy Anniversary! We love you! From, Smiley, Hope, Seth, Brandon, Shawn and JM, Tyler and family.
