It was truly a game of inches when Ville Platte amd DeRidder collided in the semi-finals of the District Seven Majors Tournament in Ville Platte late Wednesday night. The last out of the game will explain.

Koury Beth Nelson and Michael James Chrsity exchanged marriage vows during a 2 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, May 24, 2008 at the First Lutheran Church in Crowley. Pastor David L. Greene officiated the ceremony.

The Ville Platte Super 10’s are headed to Many to play in the Dixie Youth AAA North Regional Tournament. The group placed second in the District Seven Tournament after falling to Oberlin 9-8 late Wednesday night.

The elaborate Magnolia Room located within the beautiful establishment of the Historic Townhouse in Lafayette set the mood for the intimate double ring ceremony uniting Jan Erin Hilliard and Mario Roberto Corzo as husband and wife.

The sound of trumpets announced the entrance of Bethany Gail McDaniel, bride-elect of Joshua John Webb, in St. Peter Catholic Church Saturday, June 14, 2008. In a solemn, impressive candlelight ceremony, the couple received the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony at 7 p.m.
