The Food Network channel this week will offer a sneak peek at LSU at Eunice’s LeDoux Library’s special guest for homecoming as she competes against renowned “Iron Chef” Bobby Flay this week.

Eunice’s crime scene investigations program received a big boost this month, according to Fire and Emergency Services Program Director Steve Gervaise.

Eunice officials were sworn in for four-year terms. They are Mayor Wilson Moosa and Aldermen Al Bihm, Burleigh Young, John Babineaux, Thomas E. Powell and Murphy Richard. Clovis Durio is police chief.

The Chamber of Commerce told Mayor Bob Morris to keep his water line when he offered to reconnect the organization’s building to a city meter.

The Grammy-nominated Pine Leaf Boys with Wilson Savoy, pictured, and the Me'Lange Cajun Band will perform Saturday, July 19, 2008 at 6:00 PM at the Liberty Theatre in Eunice for the "Rendez-vous des Cajuns" Cajun Music Radio & TV Show.
