Memphis, Tenn. – The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service released its preliminary report today on mid-continent breeding ducks and habitats, based on surveys conducted in May and early June.

St. Martinville budget fluid

St. Martinville – The City Council on July 7 adopted a $14 million operating budget and $4.2 million in capital improvement spending for sewerage, water, lights and streets.

City to draft agreement with Chamber

The city will consider adoption of an intergovernmental agreement with the Chamber of Commerce.

The Chamber has been on city property on CC Duson since 1983. It has previously paid neither utility costs nor rent.

Council asks for pay-raise cost numbers

Auditor Steve Moosa will give the City Council numbers in August on various employee pay-raise alternatives.
