FDA warns against Cipro and others

WASHINGTON- The Federal drug safety officials have imposed the government’s most urgent warning on the drug Cipro and similar antibiotics, citing risks that they cause tendon ruptures, which is a serious injury that leaves some patients incapacitated.

School Board considers construction projects

CROWLEY – At Monday evening’s meeting of the Acadia Parish School Board, the board voted to accept the low bid of local Crowley contractor L.K. Breaux and Associates for the construction of a new cafeteria at Estherwood Elementary School.
