BURNEL FUSELIER

July 19, 1924 - June 25, 2008

Funeral services were held for Burnel Fuselier, 83, of Ville Platte, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 11 a.m., Friday, June 27. Burial followed in the Evangeline Memorial Cemetery.

There is a city ordinance prohibiting the attachment of political and/or any other sign to utility poles and in the right of ways within the City of Ville Platte.

During its meeting Tuesday, July 1, the Ville Platte Housing Authority board discussed its charge-offs for the past 18 months and questioned office staff about retrieving these charge-offs

Superintendent Toni Hamlin clarified a statement Wednesday evening, July 2, she made to the Evangeline Parish School Board at its last meeting in regards to a four-day school week.

The Louisiana Volunteers for Family and Community (LVFC) Association Area Four Day was held in Crowley June 12. Evangeline VFC members attending the event were Joyce Coreil, Earleen Boyce and Lynn Landreneau.
