White Oak Plantation in Baton Rouge served as the setting for a double ring ceremony uniting Cherie Elizabeth LeJeune and Shaun Patrick Thibodaux, both of Prairieville. Rev. John Lucascio, pastor of Carpenter’s Chapel United Methodist Church in Prairiville officiated the ceremony.

Susan Marie Hebert became the bride of Kristopher John Bellon during a 7 p.m. nuptials mass on Friday, June 27, 2008. Vows were exchanged at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Jennings with Father Charles McMillin officiating.

LAFAYETTE – The University of Louisiana at Lafayette’s Edith Garland Dupré Library was the latest stop Thursday on the “Road to the White House”; C-Span’s traveling production studio and educational bus.

The Iota Volunteers for Family and Community recently donated several books to the Acadia Parish Library, Iota Branch.
