CROWLEY – After numerous reports and five months of investigating burglaries at Ross Elementary School, Crowley Police have got their man. John Morris Martin, 49, of Crowley has been arrested and charged with burglary.

Levees along the upper Mississippi River are breaking as record floodwaters surge out of Iowa, Wisconsin and Illinois. And more rain is forecast for the midsection of the country. How long before it gets here, and what will be the impact?

It can be seen on many roads throughout Louisiana -- potholes and broken pavement. Millions of dollars are spent each year by the state and local agencies to fix these roads only to have overweight trucks damage them again.
