Dorothy and Jimmie Bradley Sr. of St. Landry celebrated 52 years of marriage on February 13, 2017.
The couple married February 13, 1965 at the bride’s mother’s home in Bayou Chicot.
The couple has three daughters and three sons.

The Catholic Daughter’s of the Americas Sacred Heart of Jesus Court #1674 marked its 62nd year with the annual anniversary banquet on the evening of Wednesday, February 1, 2017, in the library of Sacred Heart Elementary School.
Regent Barbara Delafosse presided over the event.

John R. and Anna Lavergne of Ville Platte celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary January 28, 2017.
Anna, the former Anna Lee Fontenot of Ville Platte, and John were married in 1967 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte. Fr. Joseph Brennan officiated the ceremony.
