The other will be Joe Hall's Creole Band.

Eunice High’s Stuart Turner was named catcher to the Louisiana Sportswriter Association’s 4A All-State Baseball team.

The Eunice Junior Oilers began their season Wednesday night with a 13-0 victory over Jiffy Lube of Lake Charles at the Eunice High School diamond.

Arnaudville — The Town Council at its May 20 meeting voted to curtail fund-raising, sometimes called “can-shakes,” by students from local schools at the traffic light in Arnaudville.
