Some 1,200 St. Martin Parish homeowners are going to be paying property taxes for the first time, parish tax assessor Lawrence Patin told the Parish Council last week.

Community Foundation breaks ground on new home

Lafayette - Community Foundation of Acadiana will break ground on a new building to house its offices today, May 22, at 4 p.m. The building is located at the corner of Camellia and Pendleton Boulevards, in the heart of River Ranch.

LAFAYETTE - Funeral services were held for Stephen Olivier Billeaud, 54, of Lafayette, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Lafayette at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 21. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
