With another revision in the Class 4A state playoff schedule, Eunice High’s first-round playoff opponent was changed back to Parkway, and the game was scheduled to be played out Saturday evening at 5 p.m. in Bossier City.

Team Sam maintained its impressive lead with a 13-5 win over Team Tupper, claiming the Spring 2008 championship title as the Eunice Ladies Tennis League season wrapped up last week.

Eunice Elite U14 champs in Baton Rouge tournament

Elite, the U14 girls fast-pitch team, traveled to Baton Rouge this past weekend for their first tournament of the season, where they fought their way out of the loser’s bracket to win the Capital City Classic Championship.

Update: Bracket error changes Eunice opponent

An error in the LHSAA playoff brackets was corrected Friday afternoon, resulting in a change in Eunice High's bi-district opponent.

In the corrected bracket, 18th-seeded Eunice will travel to 15-seed Parkway in Bossier City Saturday at 5 p.m.
