RAYNE – For the second time in three days, Crowley High’s Steven Boulet stepped up in a big way.

On Monday, Boulet took the spot of injured Tory Carey on two of the Gents’ three relay teams Monday and helped pace the Gents to a second-place finish at Church Point’s Bear Paw Relays.

CROWLEY – The Crowley Gents have been driving opponents batty with their offense the last couple of weeks and that trend continued Tuesday when they pounded out 12 hits in a 12-2 District 5-AAA victory over Church Point.

RAYNE – Playing a rugged non-district schedule early in the season has paid off for Tim Robichaux and his Notre Dame Pioneers.

CLINTON, MS – Former Notre Dame standout and current Mississippi College star Paige Hodges is continuing where he left off after shining for two years at LSUE.

CROWLEY – It was just about their biggest game of the season for the Crowley Ladies and they responded just like CHS coach Brian Gary hoped they would.

CROWLEY – It’s not how you start, but how you finish that counts. Unless you start the same way you finish.

CECILIA – Big innings were something the Crowley Gents had grown accustomed to in a three-game run leading up to Thursday’s non-district clash with powerhouse Cecilia.

During that stretch, the Gents had scored 54 runs in victories over Northwest, Bunkie and Rayne.
