CROWLEY – The Acadia Parish Police Jury stepped further back from the day-to-day operations of parish government Tuesday night by strengthening the duties of the Jury Secretary-Treasurer as formulated by a committee last week.

Sales tax numbers are beginning to give public officials the jitters.
