Breaux Bridge — Acting on a complaint from Aflac Insurance Company, detectives with the Louisiana State Police Insurance Fraud Unit launched an investigate and determined that from March 29 until October 13, 2006, the company was defrauded of $43,304.63.

Breaux Bridge – Charles Carter, 40, of Breaux Bridge, died March 30 when the motorcycle he was riding crossed into the path of a heavy-duty pickup truck towing a horse trailer.

We just returned home to northeast Texas after a great weekend in Eunice enjoying all the fun and food and welcoming spirit of the area.
However, you might be interested to know that just up the road at Pine Prairie on Sunday morning about 7:30 we were stopped by a patrolman who wrote us a ticket for speeding.
