MAMOU — Vinton roared into Mamou for a Super Tuesday matchup in district play.
Mamou controlled the flow of the game from the opening tip and went on to make the Lady Lions look sheepish.
The Lady Demons won 69-30 and improved to 4-0 in district and 17-8 overall.

The Ville Platte High Lady Bulldogs and the Pine Prairie Lady Panthers got key wins in district play Tuesday night.
However, the Sacred Heart Lady Trojans and the Ville Platte Bulldogs fell in their contests.

VILLE PLATTE — The Lady Trojans continued to commit venial sins of basketball along with other mental gaffes; however, prompt succor intervened as they went on to win 4948 in double overtime on Trojan Lane.

VILLE PLATTE —The Ville Platte Lady Bulldogs took one step closer to another District 5-3A title Tuesday night, as they cruised past the Church Point Lady Bears 65-34.
With the win, Ville Platte is now 13-7 on the year, but most importantly they are now 2-0 in district play.

EUNICE — The District 4-3A basketball game between the Eunice High Lady Bobcats and the Pine Prairie High Lady Panthers came down to the final minute and the ability to make free throws.

A four-point lead at the half dissipated in the fourth quarter for the Sacred Heart Lady Trojans, as they fell to district opponent Notre Dame 45-38 in Crowley Tuesday night.
With the loss, Sacred Heart falls to 10-6 on the season and 0-1 in District 5-2A play.

The Sacred Heart Trojans and Lady Trojans took to the road for a non-district battle against Loreauville this past Friday night.
The Lady Trojans once again showed why they are always in the mix at the end of the year for a playoff appearance, as they decimated the Lady Tigers 45-18.
