Angelia Fontenot was named Employee of the Month for July at Heritage Manor, and Mercedes Lafleur was named Resident of the Month. Fontenot has been employed with Heritage Manor for eight months in the housekeeping department. She has four children and three grandchildren.

OPEN HOUSE HELD - Village de Memoire held an open house celebration Thursday, July 2. Many residents, their family members and local dignitaries attended the fun event. Many booths were set up and residents and attendees won door prizes by playing several fun games at the booths.

Troupe d’Evangeline will be hosting a Pirate and Princess party on Saturday, August 1, from 10 a.m. until 12 noon at the Civic Center Pavilion in Ville Platte.

On Father’s Day June 21, Heritage Manor resident Ammich Stagg was honored as Most Active Father. A father of five, he was celebrated with a party attended by a lot of family and friends.
