St. Martinville — The legacy of deceased World War II hero Jeff DeBlanc is soon to be shared with the public.

Before his death in November, DeBlanc agreed to donate his Medal of Honor and other memorabilia to the National World War II Museum in New Orleans.

David Traver’s 7th grade class at Stephensville Elementary School sports the new T-shirts they won by raising the most money for the American Cancer Society. Altogether, the school raised a total of $775.00 by “buying” links in a paper chain.
