PINE PRAIRIE – It was total dominance from both the Mamou girls and the Pine Prairie boys as they clashed against inter-parish rivals respectfully in non-district competition here Tuesday night.

EUNICE - It was a fight to the finish as the St. Edmund Lady Jays earned a 53-40 win over the Pine Prairie Lady Panthers.
The battle began with a 12-12 tie as two teams fought to grab control of the game.

Pine Prairie exploded for a 15-0 run to open the game as the Panther cruised to a 56-39 win over St. Edmund.
Douglas Fontenot scored six points early and Vontreuis Thomas drrained a trey to give the Panters a 9-0 lead.

The Mamou High Demon and Lady Demon basketball teams took to the hard court this past weekend to compete in the Northwest High Holiday Tournament.
Both the Demons and Lady Demons began play on Sunday, taking on the Northwest High Raiders and Lady Raiders respectfully.

The senior quarterback helped lead the Bearcats to an overall record of 10-2 and a quarterfinal appearance. David passed for 540 yards and seven touchdowns this past season.
