Deadline to register in person for April election is March 29

Evangeline Parish Registrar of Voters Lucas Buller has announced that the last day to register in person or by mail for the April 29, 2017 election is March 29, 2017. The last day to register online for the April 29, 2017 election using the Geuaxvote.com website is April 8, 2017.

The Ville Platte Police Department has arrested burglar suspect Abraham Chambers.
In the previous week, three businesses located in downtown Ville Platte have been robbed.
