NATCHITOCHES – The intensity of the annual LSU-Alabama matchup, perhaps unmatched this century in college football, is personified by Les Miles and Nick Saban, the distinctive and remarkably successful head coaches of the powerhouse programs.

LSU-South Carolina game moved to Baton Rouge

Due to the severe flooding in South Carolina, the Southeastern Conference announced on Wednesday that Saturday’s LSU at South Carolina college football game will be moved to Baton Rouge.
The game will start at 2:30 p.m. at Tiger Stadium.

Former Bulldogs complete spring training

Another spring training has come and gone for the university football programs around the country.

Fontenot continues pitching success with Pokes

Former Sacred Heart High school standout, Kaleb Jon Fontenot, has racked up a pretty successful season so far on the baseball diamond for the McNeese Cowboys. As of Thursday, Fontenot has accumulated an overall record of 7-3 in 14 appearances on the hill for the Pokes in 2015.

Cajuns and Rebels square off Saturday at the Tigue

For the first time in school history, the University of Louisiana at Lafayette baseball team will host a NCAA Super Regional. The Cajuns (57-8) will host the Ole Miss Rebels (43-18), the winner of the Oxford Regional.
