The fate of the Pine Prairie playoff hopes may be on the line this Friday as the Panthers will travel to Port Barre to take on the Red Devils in a crucial District 5-3A matchup. Game time is set for 7 p.m.

For the Mamou Demons (0-7, 0-2), the road does not get any easier in 2015. Mamou will travel this week to take on an undefeated Welsh Greyhound team that has scored more than 45 points every game this season.

VILLE PLATTE -- It was another rough outing for the Sacred Heart Trojans Friday night as they fell to the Loreauville Tigers 38-7 in a District 5-2A contest.
Sacred Heart now falls to 2-5 on the season and 1-3 in district play.

PORT BARRE -- The Ville Platte Bulldogs scored on a half-back throw-back pass in overtime, beating the Red Devils here Friday evening, 6-0.
With the victory, Ville Platte improves to 4-3 on the season and 1-1 in District 5-3A. Port Barre falls to 0-2 in the district.

PINE PRAIRIE -- Coming off of a loss to the Northwest Raiders, the Pine Prairie Panthers looked to even their record in District 5-3A.
Standing in their way was a Church Point Bear team ranked number four in the state.
