Defensive struggle

With two of the better defenses around the area, both Ville Platte and Basile knew it was going to be a struggle to put points on the board.
In fact Basile used its defense to score the only points of the game, as they took a 7-0 win over Ville Platte Friday night at Bulldog stadium.

The Eunice High Bobcats scored three touchdowns on their first three possessions on the way to a 27-7 victory over the Sacred Heart Trojans in the nightcap of the Joe Nagata Memorial Jamboree played Friday at Bobcat Stadium.
