MAMOU - The Mamou Police Department reported they made four arrests recently.
The following persons were charged:
•Chad Rideaux, Rue Jolie Blonde, Apt. 214, Mamou, was charged May 23, with simple battery. Rideaux bonded out of jail .

The City of Ville Platte has recently initiated its own Ville Platte Youth on the Move Summer Employment Program serving ages 16 to 18 years old, enrolled in high school and residing in the Ville Platte city limits. Application time is now.

Telling stories is something James R. “Jim” Butler did professionally for most of his life as a reporter and editor in Louisiana and Mississippi.
