EPSB receives three applications for superintendent position

The applications are in, and it looks like the Evangeline Parish School Board will have three individuals to choose from to become the district’s new Superintendent of Schools.

Daylight Savings Time is Nov. 6

Haunted Hall

The creepiest place to go this Halloween might just be Ville Platte City Hall.
On Monday, October 31st, the city hall will be transformed into a haunted house with ghosts hanging from the ceiling, spiderwebs all over, and witches tucked away in corners ready to scare visitors.

Early voting turnout high in parish

Evangeline Parish voters are taking advantage of this year’s early voting period.
As of 2 p.m. on Wednesday, the Evangeline Parish Registrar of Voters office revealed that 725 parish residents had already cast their votes for the upcoming Nov. 8th election.
