The creepiest place to go this Halloween might just be Ville Platte City Hall.
On Monday, October 31st, the city hall will be transformed into a haunted house with ghosts hanging from the ceiling, spiderwebs all over, and witches tucked away in corners ready to scare visitors.

Marie Guidry has worked for three years with Faith House, which offers help to women and children living in abusive circumstances, and it has been through her time at the organization’s Ville Platte location that she has discovered that “the women in Evangeline Parish are tough.”

Evangeline Parish voters are taking advantage of this year’s early voting period.
As of 2 p.m. on Wednesday, the Evangeline Parish Registrar of Voters office revealed that 725 parish residents had already cast their votes for the upcoming Nov. 8th election.
