POLLOCK, La. - Families learned about healthy eating and the importance of exercise at the Louisiana 4-H Food and Fitness Camp held at 4-H Camp Grant Walker February. 22-23.

February 18, Meeting

VFW Post #3803 members, the dietary staff and volunteers are shown with the monthly barbecue meal for residents of Heritage Manor on February 13. The meal was blessed by Father Richard Vidrine in memory of his parents, Morris and Nazel Vidrine.

Andrus Chapman and Bobbie McCauley were crowned as the Heritage Manor Valentine King and Queen for 2014. They will represent Heritage Manor at an upcoming regional pageant.

Pine Prairie School held a talent show for both elementary and high school students Monday, February 24, at the high school gym. Many contestants entered the show and the judges had a difficult time picking the winners. In the first photo, the elementary winners are shown.

Carla Ardoin, first photo, was named Employee of the Month for February at Heritage Manor, and Evelyn Guillory, second photo, was named Resident of the Month. Ardoin has been employed with the facility for five years as an LPN. She began her career as a CNA and enjoys her job.
