This year’s Cotton Festival events were so much fun! It all began with the Contradanse and the crowning of new royalty Le Roi Andrus Chapman and La Reine Bobbie McCauley. They were crowned by Queen Cotton LXI Karlee Farris.

On October 12, 1492, Christopher Columbus and his crew made land fall in the New World after more than two months of sailing from Spain. Their original goal was to find a route to the Far East. Columbus called the island San Salvador, which is now a part of the Bahamas, and claimed it for Spain.

Matthew 7:21-23 KJV says, “Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils?
